The Cardiology and Respiratory Service is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Respiratory Physiologist who has the ability to plan, organise and work in a busy environment.
Taranaki Base Hospital Cardiology and Respiratory Service provides a specialist diagnostic and treatment service for inpatients and outpatients with cardiac and respiratory disorders.
Responsibilities include the calibration and maintenance of respiratory equipment, ensuring that the quality assurance systems are maintained. The laboratory has a strong commitment to quality assurance and service development.
It is essential that you have a relevant health, biomedical or technical qualification, and recent experience in the field of respiratory diagnostics.
A demonstrated ability in working with people and medical technology is also essential.
This position is 16 hours a week, between Monday to Friday predominately between 8.00am to 4.30pm.
