The Taranaki District Health Board is a large organisation (2,040 staff, $445m cost-centre) operating in the exciting, changing Health sector.

Reporting to the General Manager People & Capability, this role of Organisational Development – Projects is intended to support the organisation development team whilst an internal secondment occurs.

To be successful in this role, you’ll need an understanding of and a proven ability in related organisational development areas:

• Current trends and practices in Organisational Development delivery
• Design and delivery of Organisational Development initiatives
• Leadership and management development
• Talent management and succession planning
• Performance management

It is essential that you understand how organisational development drives business outcomes and influences employee behaviour and culture. You’ll need strong project management skills, the ability to prioritise based on a business plan, and enthusiasm for collaboration. A background working in a large complex organisation would be helpful. We are flexible on your industry background.
