Our Paediatric Physical Therapy Team is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Physiotherapist to join us at the Child and Adolescent Community Centre in New Plymouth.This position is committed to helping children with a diagnosed disability or who are at risk of a disability and their families/whanau/caregivers achieve optimum function and well being.
This position is within our Child Development Service and works in a Multidisciplinary team consisting of Speech-Language Therapists, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Visiting Neurodevelopmental Therapists, Seating Therapist and Therapy Assistants. The centre also houses Paediatricians, Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services, Public Health Nursing and Vision & Hearing Service.
The ideal candidate will have:
A Qualification recognised by the New Zealand Physiotherapy Board.
Paediatric experience or appropriate transferable clinical experience.
The ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
An interest in working with children
