Social Worker – Acute Mental Health Services Part Time

We are looking for a person to join our team to provide social work services to our acute inpatient mental health unit and or Assessment and Brief Care Team. As we are looking for a minimum of two people to ensure peer/collegial support we are open to negotiating flexibility of hours with the successful applicants.

Ideally the candidate will have:

• Recognised qualification in Social work e.g BSW or equivalent.
• Social work registration and current APC
• Excellent psychosocial and risk assessments
• Professional experience of the health sector
• Excellent communication both oral and written
• Patient and whānau centred care focus
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a MDT
• Strong facilitation skills
