An exciting opportunity exists for a pivotal senior management position reporting to the Chief Executive and as a key member of the Executive Management Team.
The Tumuaki Matua Hauora Maori will provide expertise and leadership within the Taranaki District Health Board (TDHB) to implement the TDHB’s Maori Health Equity strategy including He Korowai Oranga Refresh 2014, Whakamaua: Maori Health Action Plan 2020-2025, Te Manawa Taki Regional Equity Plan and the TDHB’s Maori health strategy Te Kawau Mārō Strategy Refresh 2020.
Working closely with the executive and clinical leaders you will to ensure Maori health equity strategies and goals for the region are met, and represents and supports TDHB in the Community.
The Tumuaki Matua Hauora Maori will provide leadership that will harnesses the energy, commitment and creativity of all staff to build strong and effective operational teams capable of providing culturally competent services of the highest quality.
